Although each skein has been washed and rinsed multiple times, you might find a bit of vegetable matter. These small bits of hay or grass are few and far between and easily removed. Just think of it as a reminder that your yarn used to be a. sheep’s coat last year.

Shetland wool is soft, yet strong and durable. The combination of the Shetland and Alpaca creates a yarn that is next to skin soft, but durable. This is ideal for hats and mittens or for a very warm sweater.
